About Indian Society for Buffalo Development​

The Indian Society for Buffalo Development (ISBD), established in 1987, is focused on advancing buffalo production, welfare, and improvement. With a membership of over 770 professionals, including scientists, veterinarians, farmers, and entrepreneurs, ISBD works towards enhancing buffalo farming through scientific research and sustainable practices.

ISBD plays a leading role in buffalo development, organizing national and international seminars, congresses, and workshops to promote knowledge exchange. The society collaborates with global organizations such as the International Buffalo Federation and the Asian Buffalo Association, strengthening its impact and ensuring its members stay ahead of industry trends.

Through its various activities, ISBD continues to foster innovation and the adoption of best practices in buffalo farming, working to improve productivity, sustainability, and the overall well-being of buffalo worldwide.
